your BUSINESS?
According to the WOB statistics, many women are not JUST STARTING businesses at a rapid rate, but they are staying in business.
Sustainability is the name of the game when talking about women working.
It reminds me of what the Dalai Lama said:
"The world will be saved by the Western woman."
I chalk this up to nothing grows without consistent action, and women are educating themselves like crazy and pulling ahead in this job force.
According to the Department of Labor, the following positions are the top ten occupations with the highest median income for women in 2007:

What surprised me about this report is that you can earn more than double the top weekly income when owning an Internet-run company. Why was that not reported?

Recently I met a friend at Starbucks for a coffee, and we talked about the school system and the economy. He has two small children and, to give them a better education, his wife had been home schooling until recently when they placed their children in a WALDORF school. Which is a school that I attended as a young girl.
It seems the more people I talk to with children don’t trust the NORMAL school system to take care of their kids’ brains.
Looking back on it, my university studies served nothing toward my business knowledge today. They never taught me how to ACTUALLY make money, budget, or to help more people.
Don’t get me wrong—if you want to be a lawyer, heart surgeon, or another job of that nature, then school is definitely for you.
However, if you are going to go to school to develop your entrepreneurial mind, you might want to second guess your plan!
Most of my education today has come from high income-earning business coaches—my network of successful friends—and my own breakdown of testing my ideas and learning from my mistakes.
No matter what your passion is in life, make sure you take daily action to move toward it. Discover the people who are winning in your field and get the help you need to succeed.
Life without purpose is a life of complaining, blame, and general unhappiness. Being negative is short lived when you have purpose, because you don’t have time for it!
You’ve got to find what FIRES you up; otherwise, you are giving up on your own fulfillment. It’s THE BEST investment you’ll ever make in your life. It far exceeds buying a house or a new car or anything else you could possibly think you want.
