Are You Giving Up?

Are You Giving Up on your Dreams?

You know that many people GIVE UP their dreams and instead listen to many excuses. They can't do something because of their children. Or their husband will never let them take the plunge and follow their own dreams.  And to me that's so lame!

This leads me to think of my coach Suzanne.  She always reminds us that everyone has CANCER or CHILDREN.

Here’s what she means.

We all run into life situations where it’s either our children who need our attention, which, of course, pulls at our heart strings,  or it’s our parents or someone dear to us that is sick, possibly dying.

It’s a reality of life that each and every one of us is going to face one or the other.  The fact of the matter is that life is GOING to happen to us all, but that’s not an excuse that will work if you want a real business.

I know to some people that may sound harsh, but it’s the truth.  You can’t abandon your mission because of life situations.

Committed, purpose-driven company leaders NEVER give up on their missions.  They find a way to keep the ship sailing while they are taking care of other life situations.

You see, your business connects to people who are depending on you to be consistent.   If you are wanting to help people and you are clear that you want to make an abundance of money, then in exchange, you are going to have to have a high level of value for what you do.

Can you imagine working for a top corporate company and saying, “I just can’t work this month because I can’t focus on my job with everything going on in my life.”  You would be FIRED!

So why do so many people give that kind of power to jobs that they don’t even care about?  What if you decided today that your GOD-GIVEN PURPOSE was the most important legacy for your life?

The reason why top executives make good money has a lot to do with that they never give up, their standard of excellence is better than most people’s NORMAL, and they commit to their purposes no matter what.

Now, in today’s day and age, we women can have families and run highly profitable companies, but there is a learning curve.  And you will have to give up something to receive something of a higher life value.

At the beginning of any learning curve, it takes a lot of giving from you to get your company’s vitals strong.  Most people can do it within the first sixteen months if they hire a KICK A*SS business coach and do everything that the coach tells them to do.

Remember that their IS a tribe of people out there who are waiting for you to solve their problems,  whether you find the perfect outfit to flatter their body, coach them, or help them find God.  Your life does have a purpose!

But if you don’t make your time available and market yourself so that they find you, then they will find someone more generous who will!

I know that it's important to respect and love your partner and your kids, and life definitely HAPPENS, but it's most important to love yourself.

It's my belief that people will never love you more than you love yourself—so congratulations for making your life a priority.

Stand in the fire, and eventually you'll step out of it and see that there is an entire world out there waiting for you to show up.
