Before Shanda Sumpter, our Queen Visionary, started HeartCore Business™, she was driven.
As the employee, working for someone else, she strived for profits, for the money, for the freedom she wanted. She built a 100-million-dollar division in just 18 months. She already had a partnership in the company—a brass ring so many people chase. She was set!
But at the end of the day, when she sat in her corner office, there was still a part of her that felt unfulfilled.
What was missing? It was the people she coaches now, members of this community… It was YOU.
That was the moment Shanda realized people are more important than profits. And that’s when she decided to start her own movement with HeartCore Business™.

When you start your entrepreneurial journey, you may be chasing the money. And that makes sense: you need to make ends meet. You need those profits in order to experience the freedom of entrepreneurship.
But here’s an interesting conundrum: until you find your purpose, deliver a message you truly are meant to deliver, and help the people you’re truly meant to help, you won’t see the financial results you want to see.
When you DO go on a journey where you’re constantly moving toward purpose and passion, you can monetize anything.
It’s all about connecting your heart and your passion—your heart and your purpose. When you do, you experience supernatural growth.
But how do you do it?
How do you make that ever-important connection when you’re nose-to-the-grindstone, trying to make ends meet?
First, you identify your vision, and let it lead you.
Sometimes, people might ask you, “What’s your vision for your business?”
Trying to come up with an answer can feel a bit strange, because you feel like you have to have the “right” answer.
And with your current belief systems in place, there is only so much your mind will allow you to believe is possible for you.
But to really get clear on your vision, take a moment to consider what truly excites you, and lights you up.
Is it growing your company to a certain level? Having a particular type of marriage? Enjoying a certain level of freedom?
What have you been saying you want?
THIS is your vision. Write it down. Commit to it. Trust it.
You see, your vision is a doorway, taking you to the next elevation of your life or your business. And when a doorway opens, you have to jump—otherwise you risk staying where you are (which is NOT inside your vision).
Second, learn not to let your feelings control your actions.
Feelings change. Emotions go up and down, and move around. But if you remain steadfast on your path to live your vision, with your heart connected to your passion, then you will make your vision reality.
You may get bored or overwhelmed or depressed. Those are just feelings. That’s why it’s important to follow Shanda’s last piece of advice:
Third, keep chasing your VISION (not money!), and have faith.
Shanda calls money, “the golden handcuffs,” and she says she took them off a long time ago. When people chase money, security, and comfort, they don’t move forward.
Shanda had to let go of money, security, and comfort when she left her job and started HeartCore Business™, and now her business is approaching the eight-figure mark.
Why? Because Shanda made a decision that she was going to build an incredible company that was connected to her heart, to her vision, so she could make a big difference in the world.
In conclusion …
If you want to make more money, give more. Have the courage to jump through the hoops you get to jump through, to say yes to your purpose, and to follow your vision. Move forward.
