“How to follow through on your Dreams and Live The Life You Want."

I remember when my company was just a dream and I had no idea how to reach my financial or heartfelt goal to make a difference in the world.

Today my company is global, and we help women from all stages of their business.  I take weekends off, and the last week of every month my company is closed for a “LOVE YOU UP WEEK.”

That last week of the month we take care of our feminine needs, like going to the spa.  We also shut down for the month of December so everyone can enjoy the season with their families.

Don’t get me wrong, we work our A*SSes off, but we have created a schedule that works well for the natural energy of a professional woman.

Here are some things you have to think about if you are going to create a dream schedule and still follow through on your goals.

#1 Get a plan that reaches your monetary goals:

Let me be really straightforward here.  If you want to make money, you have to do things that generate money and stop bartering.

Decide what your financial goals are and develop a very clear step-by-step plan to get there.  Don’t GUESS. Use proven and tested strategies.

You can get more creative when you have a healthy cash flow!

#2 Don’t settle for excuses:How do you know if it’s an excuse?  The best way to know is if you abandon your goal for WHATEVER reason other than being in the hospital, and even then I’ve seen top income producers still find a way to get the job done.

Keep that in mind because, as you build your business, many realistic reasons why you can’t follow through will pop up.  You can’t settle for them anymore if you are going to change your life.

#3 Labor of Love:

Please do what you LOVE, not just what makes you money. Here’s the #1 reason why this strategy is so important.  To have what it takes to walk through your fears and to follow through, you have to be really loving what you are doing.

You will ALWAYS be better at something you love because it doesn’t feel like work AS OFTEN as when you are working a job for cash!

I created this free eBOOK to help more women build a business that FIRES them up.

#4 Don’t be afraid to be sold:

You are probably thinking – what are you talking about, Shanda?

Here’s what I mean… I remember a time of my life when I was pessimistic and defended myself from being sold when I needed the help that was in front of me.

Know that when you say out loud that you want something special in your life, the opportunity will manifest right in front of you.

In order for you to merge with your goal, you will have to RISK something to receive what you want most.  Pay attention and analyze: Is this opportunity bringing me closer to my dream?  If it is, trust it and don’t be afraid to be sold!

#5 Stay positive:

Look, you are DEFINITELY going to feel like you’ve failed at times in your business. That’s natural; we all go through that, so don’t take it personally.

Just do your best not to blame someone else for your disappointments.  Manage your expectations and remember them every time you do something positive in your business.  That will create a lot of power around your dreams!

Most of all, know that you are NOT ALONE, and every woman in business who is standing at her ultimate goal has walked the road before you.  Study hard, follow through, and get the help you need!
