Women Entrepreneurs: Are you making the right decision?
I’d like to tell you a quick story about how you can find out if you are making the right decision in your business and if your personality is cut out for being a women entrepreneur.
If you are someone who gets inspired by new ideas and can’t determine where to start or what desire to follow through on, then you are have the DNA makings of a great entrepreneur.
Many women think it’s a crime to be confused and filled with ideas. Some spend a lot of their lives starting but not finishing, and sadly enough are probably today working a job that doesn’t FIRE them up!
Well, that doesn’t have to be you.
Entrepreneurs have endless ideas. However, society just doesn’t cultivate you taking chances the way you need to as a business owner. Unless your parents are very successful company owners, you also may have grown up in a family that has taught you to grow up to get married and have babies.
The problem with that is you have this calling that is dying to get out of you. That’s why your head sees opportunity everywhere.
To make the right decision for you, it’s important to slow down and determine WHY it is that you want to start your own business. Or if you own one now, WHY did you start it? Don’t say to make lots of money. That’s not going to be good enough!
You have to have a really selfish reason why you want to make the money in order to have what it takes to pull through.
- For my client Saskia Röell from YourSoulGuidence.com, it’s for the freedom of her family and children. They mean the world to her, and her talent is in helping you overcome fear and step courageously in the direction of your dreams.
- Michelle Lopez has a dream to help her husband be able to retire and give him the freedom to choose whatever career makes him happy. I’m sure a lot of men would love to have a woman love them so much that they are their wife’s reason WHY!
- Cindy Lopez has always wanted to have a community of spiritual, empowered people around her, and today she is opening The Wild Lotus in her city.
Dreams do come true, but not until you say NOW IS THE TIME!
With me, I was afraid that I couldn’t make it without a steady job. The fact was that I could never make it WITH a job.
You see, your problem isn’t that the timing is off. As if God says that you should wait for your children to grow up before you start living your life. Or that you have to take more time to get centered before making the money you want.
These are all ways that you put yourself second and teach everyone around you how to treat you. You are a talented person who deserves to have what you want now. The strategies are simple to grow a business.
Your “stickability” is the hard part.
I say that because people trick themselves all the time by telling themselves that they have to stop! Let me tell you that I can speak for many happy, wealthy people in the world that it took them putting their desire to make money FIRST that changed their lives and the lives of their families.
Making money is a mind-set, not a talent. I really believe that. Every single one of us has a marketable skill. Including YOU!
Here is your solution to making the right decision
and being THE BEST woman entrepreneur possible.
#1 Decide today that you will stay focused on WHY you want your business to succeed.
#2 Get help to build it. It will cost you way too much to guess at this, and it will take forever to do it.
#3 Give yourself one year to make good money, the second year to make a profit, and the third year to knock it out of the park.
Just quickly, ask yourself how long you have been struggling or working a job you want to leave? Three years is a drop in the bucket.
#4 Work your plan and leave out the words I CAN’T from now on. Start asking, what do I do next?
Being a successful woman in business IS HARD, but it’s doable in three years when you give yourself permission to just try. It’s amazing what happens when you let go of holding onto struggle.
Something wonderful fills its place—FREEDOM!
The flip side is that if you don’t get good counsel to help you and you try on your own to scrape your way to the top, many don’t make it. It’s true. Why do you think so many people believe that being an entrepreneur is risky? Because they choose the wrong people to listen to.
You invest in cars, vacations, clothes, and some people invest in purses that are way above their budget—all to impress others. Sell the car, buy a cheaper one, and get a fantastic coach to help you build a conscious business that will take care of your future.
I promise you—that is the best guarantee that you’ve got. Bank on YOU!
