Success magazine did a great article on this little cupcake company that is really using online marketing to skyrocket their profits. Here’s what I found interesting.
They put an iPad on the wall, encouraging their customers standing in line to “LIKE” their FB page.
Here’s why that’s smart. The new Facebook Graph will allow more of their clients’ friends and like-minded people to connect with their business. Second, the more you connect with your clients, the better. Connection equals more currency. That’s why business owners who are doing only Facebook and not Twitter, Pinterest, and email marketing are completely sabotaging their cash flow.
People who study the buying behaviors of people say we need to connect seven times before we make a sale. For small business owners, ONLINE marketing is a low-cost approach to making this strategy work.
Seven Mobile-Friendly Ways to Market to Your Ideal Client!
1)Free giveaway on your website.

2) Pinterest – Is a free online pin board perfect for fast lead generation and is mobile friendly! It’s so effective because we are visual creatures. On Pinterest you can post photos of your blogs, products, or store merchandise to create an attraction for more people to share and buy your products. It takes strategy to do this right, so get help if you don’t know what you are doing so you don’t waste your time.
3)Twitter by far is the best way to get information to spread on the web. Google search how to use hash tags and start playing with it.
4)Facebook is my favorite because it’s the most connected. And as I said earlier, connection really does translate into currency. You can do six figures in a month on Facebook with a strategy that takes only 30 minutes to put together. Don’t underestimate the power of this platform.
5) Instagram- Although I have never made trackable income with Instagram, I do know people who have. It’s a powerful platform that I am still learning about, but if you are feeling called to start there, seek out a mentor to lead you. You don’t want to waste time getting results.
6)Blogging has been the foundation to my company. We use it for lead generation, building loyal client relationships, and sales conversions. We could not survive without this platform, and it’s the easiest way to get going on these seven marketing funnels.
7)Email marketing is consistent weekly activity in our business. If you took everything away from me and left me with my list and email marketing, I could rebuild in a few months. The #1 MOST IMPORTANT marketing tool you will ever have is your list and knowledge of good email marketing.
Here’s the challenge: Many of you are on websites that are not WordPress. Here’s the problem with that. One in three US households are CELL PHONE ONLY. That means they do not have landlines. Things have changed, and you have to be smart about how you do business. Make sure your prospects can view your business on their iPhones, iPads, and computers.
Marketing platforms like Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and WordPress are all coded to show up clearly on mobile devices. However, once you attract prospects on these platforms, you always want to lead them to a free offer on your website.
