Creating More Urgency Can Create  Faster Results in Your Business!

Ask yourself what you really want next in your business.

Is it more clients, a bigger team, or a bigger list?  What’s your next strategic goal for growing your business?  The only thing I would caution you on is making this choice from your head instead of your heart.

People often make decisions out of their lack, and, of course, that decision just creates more stress and disappointment.  You’ve got to commit without evidence that you will be successful if you want to be in the top percentage of entrepreneurs making great money!

The funny thing is that I don’t even think it’s hard to be in the top percentage!  What’s difficult is focus.  Too many entrepreneurs focus on things that waste their time in their businesses.

Look, no doubt learning about Facebook marketing, connecting on Twitter, and getting a good grip on copywriting is key to being a better business owner.

But the truth is, your focus needs to be on creating urgency to bring in more financial abundance.  Without a good cash flow, you’ll eventually get frustrated and start holding back on decisions that will cost you more money!

I see this all the time.  Women are way too comfortable and don’t focus on the biggest reasons for making more money.  They focus instead on less important, more “pretty” tasks to grow their businesses.  Often these projects are useful but shouldn’t be a priority.

What’s your URGENT reason for building your business?

If you are one of the unlucky people who have it easy, then I’d suggest you start getting goal oriented and create enough pain for yourself that you reach your income goal.

It’s not good enough to have a business that has a pretty brand.  You need to make money if you are in business; otherwise you are running a nonprofit, and in that case you should change your business status.

Owning a FOR-profit business means it’s time to make money.

To increase your cash flow you need to own a list of ideal clients, know your sales conversation inside and out, and be able to make an offer that is life changing to your client base!

Be sure you understand your role is not to be your clients’ friend; it’s more about you being a servant to them in your field.  The better you serve them, the higher value you have.  That’s how you raise your prices and establish longer-term agreements that result in a more loyal and successful client base.

It doesn’t matter if you are a consultant or someone who sells Tonka Toys to childrenYou’ve got to know your audience and what they want.  You need a list, and your first goal is to get to 4500 people.   FOCUS on creating cash flow so you can afford to hire the right team to do your social media growth, perform technology tasks, and help you execute on your dream.
