Secret thoughts Women are Having About Being Too Old!

I’m writing this to you because I want to address a secret thought you might be having about being too old.  I’ve seen this in my friends, myself and some of my clients.  Let me shed some inspiring light on this topic for you!

I will never forget a friend of mine telling me that she felt too old to have babies at forty.  Then two months later another girlfriend of mine had twins at forty-three.   My point is, what are you telling yourself in your head?

Are you committed to creating the life and business you want, or are you settling for less because of secret thoughts of being too old?  It’s an important distinction.

Age, kids, being single, or even having a spouse can all be excuses to hide behind instead of taking the risk to build a business that fires you up.

It’s not easy to build a business; however, nothing says you have to build it in three months!  If you have children, a full-time job, or both—you still have the power to build a great business.

I look at business as one of the best self-empowerment tools on the planet.

What you have to do spiritually and physically to make it happen is life changing.

Freedom is when you generate as much money as you want in order to do whatever you want when you want to do it!

Here are some tips to handling your brain’s STRESSFUL thoughts!

1)  Stay in the moment.

Create a twelve-month plan, and have only one main focus each month.  Everyone can achieve one goal a month.  If you want to learn how to be a great blogger, study that for thirty days.  Read a book and complete it.  Take a course and blog three times a week as your job!  Before you know it, your blog will have lots of traffic based on this one-month focus.  The more you blog, the more Google sends you love!

2)  Let go of things you can’t do anything about.

If you are stressed about being too old or about having too many kids (kidding), the truth is you can’t do anything about those things, so stop stressing about them.  Let go of EVERYTHING you can’t control, and re-focus on delegating things off your plate so you can get on with life.  Your life and your business are important.  Your business is your mark on the world.  Give it respect by giving it the proper attention it deserves now!

3)  Get active!

If you’ve been around me for any length of time, you know that I take on cross fit challenges and triathlons.  Here’s the truth.  The more you practice, the better you get, and that will lead to you LOVING training.  Go train your body.  It relieves stress and gives you power over your brain.  I HIGHLY suggest signing up for a race.  It will help keep you mentally and physically in shape!

4)   Move toward whatever scares you.

Resistance is a bully.  It will beat you up and give you a ton of excuses on why NOT!

To live into your true potential you are going to have to get strategic.  Once you sign up for that race or hire that business coach, resistance as you know it backs down.  You’ve got this, so trust that everything will work out for the best once you make a decision to take yourself out of where you currently are.  This could mean moving, getting married, hiring a coach, signing up for a race.  Whatever you are resisting today, move toward it now and commit!

5)  Most of all, be HONEST with yourself!

Don’t live your life for your spouse, your kids, or even your parents.  It’s critical for you to set a healthy standard for the people you love.  If you give up your dreams, you are seeding scarcity and permission to give up on the passion that God placed in your heart.  Everyone will respect you more once you take a stand to love and respect your desire to build your business.  Everyone around you will be better off when you do so!

Everyone has a calling and a dream deep inside.  Some of us know what it is, and others have so many blocks that they’ve forgotten who they are.  Regardless, breaking free is a choice, and I suggest that it’s a choice you make soon.  You aren’t getting any younger, but you still have time to make it happen!
