Freedom-Packed Business

Your Urgent Business Questions Are Answered Below

I had a mentor friend years ago take a picture of me speaking about business.  He did this because I used to have three personalities—the one that I used with my friends, one for dating, and another one when I spoke about business.  The business one had no smile and was very serious and intense.

The truth is that, for me, my business was a place to prove my worth.  To show people that I could make a difference and that I was smart.  Or “perfect,” you might say.  However, that wasn’t obvious to me.

To me, people who had issues with perfectionism worked on the details until everything looked like an “A” presentation.  That definitely wasn’t me. I flew by the seat of my pants. In fact, my mantra was that I was better when God shined through me!  The truth is that I was afraid of intimacy!

So why are we talking about this right now?

. . . Because for you to reach your full potential in life or business, you will have to show weakness.  That doesn’t mean you heal with your clients or staff.  It means self-love and accepting that you are human.

Here’s how this plays out, and this will make things crystal clear in your head.

What’s something you have been having a challenge with in your business?

  • Is it blogging regularly?

  • Building a good team around you?

  • Mastering the sales conversation?

  • Building a client base, “your list”?

  • Being consistent?

  • Public speaking?

What aspect of your business is causing you pain?

Now ask yourself, “Why?”
I bet the answer has something to do with needing to get more experience or that you don’t have enough time to do it right.  Or some variation of that.  That’s perfectionism hidden within logic.

The truth is, when you plan to build a business that provides you and other people freedom, you are going to face parts of the plan that you have not mastered.  Those moments are the moments of stickability, meaning, how you handle them defines you.

It’s not your results that paint a story of who you are. It’s how you walk through those doors of uncertainty and whether you are willing to give other people permission to do the same.  That’s how you make a real difference.  It’s where you find the FREEDOM to become you, and that’s the unstoppable force you are seeking.

Freedom comes from being willing to show ALL of yourself.  Wealth is built fastest when you stop worrying about doing things perfectly. Procrastination becomes a thing of the past when you can just do what you need to do to build your business.

Focus is easy when you stop chasing rainbows that have no definite payoff.

Do you see now how whatever you are avoiding in your business IS the opportunity you are seeking to become a bigger version of yourself? Don’t miss this moment because no one can claim your freedom like you can!
